Walking around London has brought back many memories. Being so familiar with any city makes one feel at home so this visit has been an odd combination of soaking in an update version of the familiar.

The newer architecture of the city with the Shard and the Bullet, etc remind me that I’ve become distracted from my passion for design. It seems a simple thing to say (and indeed it is) however it represents a profound shift from personal interests to work-work-work. Oddly…that shift seems to coincide with my move to the USA.
