As I continue my travels, I find myself wandering the streets of the East End of London where i used to live. Its changed radically and become hip in a very raw way. And unlike Sandy’s attack on New York, the magic that has appeared in the East End over the last 3-4 years has seeped in and around what was already there instead of simply washing everything away. I found, for example the old “beigle” shop I used to frequent and it is as gnarly and delicious as ever.
